We live in some very opinionated times. The rise of social media has seen to that.
People across the globe can freely express opinion on a number of platforms.
Everything there in real time for all to see in reality. That's why certain autocratic governments don't really do social media!!
There's is an environment which will fade as emerging generations gain their hunger for knowledge and the tech to navigate it.
And in reality these platforms should be there to define. People, business, lifestyle, new products.
It's important however that whilst the technology gives that window on the world and helps define, it shouldn't control it!
Trolls should not be supported nor those who stop free speech. Opinions should not be there to further personal agendas but rather guide and encourage.
The more we can share views with that empathetic mindset, the more the world can build together.
To use technology as a force for good, to influence positively, not to the agenda of the sometimes too powerful media.
We are some while from that but it's nice to think it'll one day exist!
