It's like that coming back from holiday feeling. Being out of the swing of things for a fortnight, functioning at a different pace and getting remotivated.
Only it wasn't a holiday but a pandemic and it's been two years!! Apart from that, the statements pretty accurate?!
In that period of time, motivations have changed, business has seen huge attrition and of course customers and supply chains may be no longer what they were.
So how are you dealing with it and how should you deal with it?
Well don't start where you left off. The world's moved on and you'll put yourself way behind. Now is about quickly understanding the global business ecosystem and responding to that new landscape.
Leave nothing untouched. Technology, systems , process all have to be dynamic. And as for the people, there needs to be a remotivation against fresh methodology.
But looking outwards to your customers and suppliers.Are they still there, valid and a focus for the strategic intent of your business?
Have a pause and make sure you're comfortable for the inevitable clamour to growth!
