The Social Tech Aspirations
I often say that we live in an increasingly techno influenced world, an obvious statement I know.
But whilst generally recognised, is there currently a conflict going on. Certainly as far as lifestyle is concerned?
As the world returns, there's a definite uplift in face to face social activity. Arguably more than pre pandemic days.
City parks are full of cyclists, joggers, yoga clubs, you name it they're happening.
But on the fringes , the tablets, laptops and androids are never far away.
Perhaps then, rather than conflict, we're seeing a confluence of beneficial elements which are adapting the way we live.
Being more dynamic in a professional way, shopping online and keeping the social networks healthy.
All enabling more time and bandwidth to be involved in physical activities.
But at what stage do the boundaries once again become blurred? Will we after a while retrench to the Metaverse or will we continue to appreciate the real world in which we live?
I guess we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime however, this strange period allows for the rise of new business and social interests.
And it's the outputs from this which I believe will define the future. To me the present is a transition in what was into the to be.
In some ways less global, in other, a strive back to getting on trend with all the latest lifestyle products and activities.
Whatever the future looks like neither will disappear. The question however is which if either, take priority in defining the way we live and the markets in which we buy.
But such times are meat and drink to the innovative and inspired entrepreneurs.
Encouraged to create enterprise which will actually define the lifestyle trends of tomorrow.
The crossing point where the influenced become the influencers, perhaps?
