I'm Seeing Corporate Supplychain Reviews as Opportunity for Your Startup and Smallbusiness!
Post pandemic a lot of large organisations are looking for differentiators to get ahead. To bring a dynamic which gives them, their marketing and sales strategies a new edge.
Procurement teams are being pressured by stakeholders to shake up existing supplychains to change the landscape. Encouraging innovation, sustainability and of course partnerships on the back of whom, new revenue streams can be created.
This is an ideal opportunity for the small business whose looking for that business to business relationship. Sure, they can be more demanding, more commercial but arguably could have bigger results.
Such relationships also bring strength to your brand, especially if working with a big name. But alongside this, it's about ensuring that more corporate commercial approach.
This begins with the contract and principles therein. Importantly don't give away the crown jewels just to get a bog name. If they're looking at you, there's a reason so be confident. It's also good to demonstrate to clients you're no pushover.
Remember they need strength in their supply chain.
Organisationally the move from consumer interface to corporate needs to be effective. Even if you are covering both, make sure you don't sacrifice one for the other.
They may use the same systems and technology but the behaviours, responsiveness and dealings in sales and commercial negotiation is different.
All perfectly do-able for the business who wants to extend their brand!
