Future of Fashion

So I am no designer or fashionista but as I do wear clothes,  I think that allows me to express some views on fashion, or more to the point, where it's going?

Designers must be spinning in their glam flamboyancy at the current crisis. Shops are closed, fashion events halted and the only accessory going anywhere is the face mask!!

I'll bet one of these designers probably had some quirky idea that face masks could be the new chic look for followers of fashion.

Little did they know that such items would become as common place as pairs of jeans!!

Of course there could still be a trend for sequined or hand painted masks with bright curly swirls!!

So what will be in this season, when of course the season begins? Does anyone really care at the moment?

We're probably all spending most our time in leisure suits topped off with bad haircuts and expanding waistlines!

Another thing this situation has highlighted is that when priorities are stacked, fashion ain't up there.

I'm absolutely certain it will return,  of course it will but in the meantime we should wonder if the pre-corona style obsession was really necessary?

Just a thought...
