Where is leadership hiding?

Oh dear oh dear! So suddenly the beaggadacio, confidence and sometimes ( a lot ) arrogance of leadership is suddenly looking timid.

The cracks of one track leadership have been badly exposed. No longer the balance, altruistic and intelligent, the past few years has seen a pretty bad harvest as far as the powerful is concerned.

A behaviour borne out of past times, right wing and bullying has somehow been seen as the new way to di things.

It's permeated through politics, business and general daily life. Creating fissures which pitch families and friends against one another and destroys community.

For these leaders there are no alternatives. Their domain us design, directed and will be ultimately destroyed by them.

After all if you spew enough poison, chances are you'll swallow some of it.

Current events have shown this to be true. Politicians who built this up as a hoax ignored it. Their domains are now crumbling because of it.

Business leaders are reliant on the goodwill of their people. The leaders who in the past have been listeners, shown empathy and supported will achieve this.

They realise the tough times affect everyone and it is the feeling and actions of team and togetherness create the strength to rebuild.

There will be those watching events who are shaping their thoughts through analysis of the behaviours on display.

There will within that community be the seeds of future leadership. This is , at least for the current generation an unknown and unique turning point.

It is also a huge learning point!

Let us hope we embrace the opportunity it brings and use this time to make the rotten visible and change to bring a healthy fresh crop of leadership to the fore!
