Political Positioning

We all do it, whether the election,  budget setting or votes on major bills and that is to listen to what the politicians are telling us

Yet no matter our politics or indeed theirs, a lack of sincere attention to the electorate is a rare thing these days.

There are few real politicians around these days who exude statesman like gravitas.

For them the boundaries of statesman like appears to begin and end with themselves. Their machines of self promotion in constant overdrive, their mirrors both real and virtual highly polished and reflecting the clearest image of how they see the image they choose, whether or not it exists.

How others view them could be the complete opposite but that won't impact the ambition of these self motivated, self interested individuals.

But we will continue to listen to them.
