Creating Persona
In business there are various elements to project you forward. Knowledge , capability and persona. The first two are obvious, the third critical.
If you want to get ahead you need a character which is engaging; in other words shows empathy and assertiveness in equal amounts.
Both are traits of a leader; both are respected from a leader. Even in tough business negotiations the ability to create rapport is a winning formula.
Even the toughest negotiators have respect for such personality and will enjoy dealing with them. Because of that they will also be very amenable to your wants and go for the quid pro quo.
Leading is not all ordering about it is about creating orderly fashion.
