Browsers and Buyers
We've all been that person in the shop who when asked "can I help you" turns to the assistant and says "no, just browsing"
A phrase that nowadays is more relevant to websites but the principle is the same.
So as the business owner, how do you convert browsers to buyers ?
The fact they are spending time in your shop or on your site confirms a level of interest.
The hard bit is the push from interested to invested. Key tactic is to confirm what they like and why, then to assess what's causing the hesitation to buy.
Tease those points out and you can have the discussion and put those positives over.
Little more difficult on line but as you get a feel for the things that may raise caution in buying, put on a little Frequenyly Asked Question button relating to the product.
Alternatively put an interactive Ask button on the site.
Either way don't just let the browser go elsewhere-turn them into a buyer !
