No matter how much some may choose to ignore the fact,  the civilised world is obsessed with lifestyle.
Whether fashion, houses, high-powered cars and chic watches and pens, it's getting to be all about the label and status.
With this comes opportunity if not multiple for people wanting to enter the lifestyle industry. After all it's not one that will go away and the market is huge but so is the competition.
That's not to say there isn't a place for new entrants. There will always be a new angle on established markets and products.
For example more and more people are working from home and as such are looking for locations and interiors that suit both the social and business aspects of their lifestyle.
Similarly more people are moving to country locations, again looking at decor which puts a more contemporary dimension to the traditional.
Country galleries are cropping up all over the place and mixing up the ranges to suit all tastes. The fact is there is no normal nowadays -anything goes.
Business is increasingly online which encourages, if not subconsciously mandates the use of technology. Application and product development to further improve and simplify the user experience. The fewer clicks to the objective the better.
This enables new businesses to get their products out to market a lot faster and because of lifestyle diversity a fulfilment can become similarly diverse. Amazon being the case in point.
It doesn't always have to be about the manufacturing; strategic partnering through investment in new products or building front-end operations across a wide supply chain can springboard entrepreneurs into a global business market.
The opportunities are all around; those who want to be inspired will find them.
