Make Success Your Reflection

When you look back on any period of your career what do you want to see?

Hopefully you'll see a path of progression and learning. Those difficult stages , the mistakes and incorrect decisions which mapping forward led to resolve and improved decision making.

It's important that you recognise and absorb all the elements which shape you. But the ones you keep are those areas you have developed and applying as second nature.

This is also crucial as you move forward. If you are truly ambitious you will keep entering new territory,  moving into depths bigger than you. 

That's why you have to keep learning and developing,  to grow into the new environment and become part of it.

By that I don't mean merging and disappearing but rather staying on the surface and influencing the changes that keep you out and above those already there.

The trick is to learn enough to be effective and shape under your direction. In a lean and dynamic way which avoids you being dragged down and being able to see the next stage of your journey.
